This music video follows the course of the day, from night, to day and again to night. The process of the song's recording is a lot like the idea of the song itself. Imperfection, being unsure of oneself, random inspiration, the extremes of a nice acoustic layered with slightly out of tune electric, too much going on from too many different players and sounds, all swept up and lost in a river subtly screaming impermanence.

The Griddle is a place for college students and families to come together to de-stress and reconnect over breakfast food. The menu emphasizes specialty waffles with fun combinations for all. Customers experience an enjoyable, relaxing atmosphere. The Griddle also has “syrup on tap” letting customers experience syrup infused with unusual, exotic flavors. All renderings were produced through Revit where I 3D modeled some furniture with custom modeling in pieces like both bars, booths, banquette seating, and light fixtures. I chose materials that were warm and light-hearted, with accents of gold and copper to add spontaneity throughout the space. I took the renderings and enhanced them with Photoshop and put the boards together using InDesign.; AS: We needed to come up with a concept for a restaurant located on State Street. I decided on a specialty waffle bar since that is a family friendly environment that people of all ages could enjoy, and there isn't one currently on State Street. I went further and put my own twist on the restaurant creating a syrup bar with "syrup on tap"--syrups infused with unusual, exotic flavors, to further the customer experience. I wanted this place to be somewhere people could come relax and de-stress while enjoying each other's company over breakfast food.

This project is focused on the actual development rather than the final product itself. The process I decided to focus on was editing photos using Photoshop. I decided on this because I am really interested in the way that editing an image affects the way people interpret its meaning. The way that we experience an image is dependent on how the artist chooses to portray. I am interested in understanding why people choose to portray an edited version of reality; in some ways a replication of the truth but in others a deviation from it.

It tends to be portrayed as rather two-sided (expensive vs necessary), but from my interviews and research, I uncovered an aspect I, and maybe many others, hadn't thought of before- textbook affordability for particular students. I'm really proud of this project and think I did a thorough job showcasing the broad perspectives on this issue.

This was initially for a course assignment that asked us to create a self portrait. I decided to try to articulate one particular emotion, or maybe a series of thoughts, that is personally important to me. The work resonates with the story of ZhuangZi's dream of himself becoming a butterfly, in which the ancient Chinese philosopher questions after waking up, 'Did I dream of myself becoming a butterfly? Or am I the dream of a butterfly?' In creating this part digital and part hand-drawn work, I was interested in exploring the delicate relationship of what’s considered realities to what’s thought of as non-realities. The work helped me articulate and reflect on the delicate notion of distinguishing the two as separates.
